Ultrasound!

Today we went in for our 20 week ultrasound for baby #2. Everything is good, baby is growing and has an excellent heart beat. Here is the picture of the baby's profile.
Cute huh? Now for the important information. We are having a...drum roll please...BOY! Kimmie will have a little brother in June. For those of you who care, here is a picture showing that he's a boy. If you can tell from an ultrasound. ;)
I think his profile looks a lot like his sister. Her ultrasound pictures can be found here.

Now we just have to start coming up with names...please feel free to send us suggestions.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We didn't get any Christmas cards off this year so here is the blog post to let everyone know what we're up to.

Stephanie and I made it through our first year with Fire Protection Technologies and we've kicked off our second year. Things have been very different from how we started, but I think given a little time that everything will start to run smoothly and work out much better than we planned.

Kimmie turns 18 months today and she has become quite the handful. But in spite of the extra work and attention that she requires, she's still our little pride and joy.

Stephanie is once again pregnant! We're very excited for our second baby which is expected mid-June 2011. We'll find out the gender at the end of January. I'm willing to entertain both bets on gender as well as name suggestions for either. :)

Ok, ok, enough of the chit-chat, let's get to some photos!

We've got some random photos that we've been wanting to blog, but haven't. We'll work from the oldest up to the most recent. ENJOY!

This is one of my all time favorite pictures taken of Kimmie. Her little cousins piled up a stack of cushions and they all started to play. Happy 4th of July!

This was taken back when the Cougars weren't having the greatest season, now that's a true Cougar fan! Actually, what's really going through her head was "mmmm, yummy orange."

Mommy's biggest helper! Kimmie loved helping Steph decorate the Christmas tree. Especially when the step-ladder was involved. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Chris' wedding. We took advantage of the opportunity to grab a cute family shot. I especially like this picture of Kimmie. You can't deny that she is the most adorable little girl EVER!

Christmas morning YAY! Kimmie loved her new princess car, kitchen playset and other random books and stuffed stuff. Santa was nice to Kimmie this year.

Sand Point, Idaho - Labor Day Weekend 2010

It's been a very busy summer and we're just getting around to blogging the highlights so there are more posts to come soon and they may be a little out of order. :)

Over Labor Day we had planned a trip to Idaho for my Grandma's 90th birthday party, little did we know that it would turn into a celebration of her *nearly* 90 years of life. She lived a long and full life. May she rest in peace. In spite of her passing, the trip was very memorable. Steph was introduced to members of my family that she had never seen and I was able to catch up with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brothers, etc. Many of whom I haven't seen in quite some time, in some cases over a decade!

Most of the trip was spent enjoying time with family so I didn't have the camera out as often as I should, but here are a few photos from the trip. As usual they are mostly of Kimmie since she's the cutest one!

Another statue! Apparently the author of the Mudgy & Millie books is from Coeur d'Alene and they have placed a number of statues near the lake for tourists to find. 

Kimmie was excited to head home, she had her bags packed and not even the airport lines could upset her.

Thanks everyone for making us feel at home. I hope that we can make another trip up north in the not-too-distant future.

KIMMIE'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!

June 26th, 2010. Kimmie turns 1!

June has been a really fun month. (And this blog post gets us nearly caught up!) Here are some random pics of the person we love the most! KIMMIE!

We just found out that Kimmie LOVES swinging! There's no quicker way to get a joyful squeal out of her than take her out back and push her in the swing.

 These pictures were so fun we had to include another!

After the swing we naturally had to take her down the slide! She was a little freaked out at first, but loves it now.

Kimmie loves to help Mommy in the yard. Now if we could just figure out how to keep her from eating the dirt...

Aquarium

Ok, so this whole trip happened on the 5th of April and we're blogging about it on the 25th of May... Genius can't be rushed. This is a rather unusual blog post because I actually made it INTO the pictures rather than TAKING the pictures. Thanks Steph!

To wrap things up I'm going to do a little plug for the Aquarium in Sandy. If you haven't gone, GO! Stephanie and I have been to two different aquariums in Hawaii over the past couple of years and although this aquarium isn't the largest, but rivals anything we've seen in Hawaii. Go visit our local treasure.
